Ella Fitzgerald Park: Public Art Community Design Meeting – May 31, 2017

Please join us on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm (EST) at Detroit SIP (7420 W. McNichols Rd, Detroit, MI 48221) for a public art community design meeting for the Ella Fitzgerald Park.

As part of the new park being designed in the Fitzgerald neighborhood, The City of Detroit and partners are working with Detroit artist Hubert Massey to create a public art installation with the community. We would love to have your input and participation in the project. The process will begin with a kickoff to brainstorm ideas, then a feedback session, followed by implementation in the fall. Children are encouraged to attend!

Snacks will be provided. The meeting will begin at Detroit Sip and may walk to the future site of the park at Prairie and Grove Streets.

Partners include: Detroit Collaborative Design Center, Live6, The Trust for Public Land, and The Kresge Foundation.

For more information, please see the event flyer.
