Free Community Workshop at Art in Motion Gallery – Friday, May 18th 6-8pm

Join Art in Motion art gallery and studio owner, Kay Williams, at her studio in the Fitzgerald neighborhood this Friday, May 18th from 6-8pm, for a free community ceramic workshop in conjunction with Hubert Massey’s tile murals for the Ella Fitzgerald Park. The event Friday evening is free and open to the public. Family friendly. Children must be supervised by an adult.

Kay, a local artist, will share her love for ceramics and the arts on Friday. She says, “I love ceramics because it’s the only art form that requires just two things: you, and the clay. You can turn what’s in your mind and turn that into a piece of art that you can take home with you. It’s a wonderful way to explore your creativity, teach your children about art, or share a special experience with your friends and family.”

Art in Motion is an art gallery and ceramic studio located in the heart of the Fitzgerald neighborhood. Visit the studio to view art, support local artists or take a class. The studio showcases over 20 local artists. For artists, studio space is available to rent; display and sale space is also available for your wares.
